CHANAKYA TECHNOLOGY TRANSLATION FELLOWSHIP
The CHANAKYA Technology Translation Fellowship Program (TTFP) supports techno-commercially focused doctorates in enhancing existing technologies. It offers funding for translational developments aimed at securing funding for product commercialization, through collaboration with the IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation. The Fellows will closely work with DRISHTI CPS team, faculty advisors, and professionals working in similar and complementary industries to advance commercialization efforts and build world class technologies. Additional funding is available to pursue research avenues.

Fellowship upto Rs. 1,25,000/- per month (Consolidated)

ELIGIBILITY
- The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
- The applicant must have obtained a Ph.D. degree from a recognized University.
- Upper age limit: 35 years on the last date of application.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
- The selected fellow will be expected to file an idea patent (provisional/complete) on a project-aligned idea and carry out the R&D necessary to realize it during the fellowship tenure.
- After completion, the work should be considered to be minimum at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) – 4.
- Clear articulation of how the work advances Industry 4.0/Smart Manufacturing or healthcare impact.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
The following broad procedure would be followed for the selection of the CHANAKYA TT Fellows:
- Candidates those who have obtained PhD in technology and scientific domains, can submit applications using the following link:Click Here
- The shortlisting of applicants would be through a ‘peer review’ process wherein the applications would be initially reviewed by IITI DRISHTI CPS Team.
- Based on this review, the shortlisted candidates would need to present their proposed idea highlighting the end product (hardware/software), the scope for patent/commercialization, end/target customers, current TRL, expected end TRL, proposed budget, etc. Candidates must also highlight their vision for IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation and plan to meet the same.
- A selection committee constituted for the purpose would assess the applicants, based on the strength of their profiles, and interview.
