CHANAKYA CHAIR PROFESSORSHIP PROGRAM
The CHANAKYA Chair Professorship (CCP) scheme aims to identify highly motivated doctors with a proven track record of technological development in the healthcare sector. It is expected that CHANAKYA Chair Professor will develop and lead new and effective products/technologies in area of CPS with a specific focus on healthcare. The product is defined by NMICPS as technology with a minimum technology readiness level of 7. Allied areas can also be considered based on their linkage with healthcare sector and potential for commercialization. Typically, IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation is looking for those medical doctors who have passion for technology development with focus on commercialization. She/He should lead the development of at least one of the commercially important products in this field. Chair Professors will serve as a key resource for IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation and are expected to contribute towards the development of the same.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
The CHANAKYA Chair Professor position is meant for Medical Professional currently working in Indian Institution and having at least three years of service before superannuation. The fellowship is required to be implemented at IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation.

Link: Click Here - The shortlisting of applicants would be through a ‘peer review’ process wherein the applications would be sent to senior faculty members/doctors of related fields for an initial review.
- The shortlisted candidates, based on this review, would need to deliver a detailed seminar/presentation outlining the product development and its commercialization aspects and plans. Candidates will also be required to highlight their vision for IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation and plans to meet the same.
- A selection committee constituted for the purpose would assess the applicants based on the quality of their seminar/presentation and the strength of their profiles.
