This is an innovative tool for asset management of rotating machines to reduce asset breakdown and enhance decision making by offering a unified platform to monitor and manage asset health.
Breakdowns of critical assets such as failures in motors, pumps, and gearboxes are a frequent challenge in manufacturing, often resulting in significant monetary losses, production delays, and quality issues. In high-stakes applications, these failures can even threaten safety. Adding to the challenge, the absence of up-to-date information on equipment health often slows response times, increasing repair costs and reducing efficiency.
Presage addresses these issues with a mobile-based maintenance management software and a proprietary battery-powered sensor for rotating machinery. The sensor attaches magnetically within minutes and collects vibration, temperature, and acoustic data at frequent intervals. Through advanced signal analysis and fault detection techniques, the system identifies early-stage issues, filters out irrelevant noise, and delivers actionable diagnostics. It alerts teams to abnormal equipment behavior, pinpoints root causes, and offers clear recommendations for corrective action.
