Consequently, it becomes crucial to offer a clearly structured system architecture to address the technological obstacles encountered in healthcare. With this drive in focus, the team at DRISHTI CPS has devised a plan to leverage the potential of technology within our healthcare platform, CharakDT. This platform aims to optimize patient care and enhances collaboration among stakeholders in the dynamic healthcare landscape. It unites patients, doctors, pathology labs, clinics, hospitals, medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and health tech startups. This innovative solution creates a digital ecosystem, ensuring personalized treatment for each patient.
CharakDT is built using an open source web-platform, and leverages cloud services. It’s a SaaS-based marketplace with the goal of creating a digital twin for each user to improve health and life expectancy. The system employs a microservices-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs for seamless integration. Further, JSON data serialization ensures platform agnosticism and interoperability. The modular design of CharakDT facilitates vital platform scalability through seamless API integration from service providers. For example, “Digital Attorney” uses generative AI to assist with medico-legal cases and is integrated with CharakDT. “Easiofy” converts 2D X-ray images into 3D views of the brain for better decision-making. “Mobilab” is a pocket-sized point-of-care testing (PoCT) device integrated with CharakDT, ideal for remote locations. CharakDT also integrates a service provider that transforms handwritten prescriptions into digital records. Moreover, it collaborates with health service providers for diabetic retinopathy detection and non-invasive blood sugar testing.
