Supported by DRISHTI CPS under the Seed Support Scheme, MCS Cargar Private Limited has pioneered a new generation of flexible, portable, and eco-friendly electric vehicle (EV) fast charging technology. Their innovative product line includes the eX10sn, a portable DC fast charger that works on-grid and requires no installation; Electron, a mobile fast charger that
operates completely off-grid and is suited for remote areas or places with limited infrastructure; and the SOLe Charger, which combines solar power with EV charging, making it possible to charge vehicles using clean energy at homes, rooftops, and solar carports.
With growing demand for electric vehicles, the current local EV charging infrastructure often struggles with accessibility, space limitations and convenience issues, deterring potential EV users. MCS Cargar addresses these issues by offering easy-to-deploy solutions that don’t require civil work or permanent setups. Their off-grid and solar-based chargers reduce dependency on unstable grid connections and make it easier to set up charging points quickly, in various locations.
With support from DRISHTI CPS, MCS Cargar has carried out more than ten pilot programs, several of which are still ongoing. The platform is currently in use by over twenty users and has built four key partnerships to expand its reach. The company’s solutions are designed to work in a variety of settings, whether in urban spaces or rural areas, allowing flexible deployment to meet the needs of different users and locations across the country.
