This patient data management solution creates a unique patient ID registered with the National Healthcare Authority, which serves as a gateway to a blockchain-based automated medical data locker, where patient records are securely stored and can be accessed seamlessly via a mobile application. The integration of blockchain ensures that patient data is tamper-proof and easily retrievable, providing healthcare providers with reliable access to comprehensive patient information.
Additionally, Vigorus is building an innovative IoT device, a smart Notepad, that allows healthcare professionals to digitally capture handwritten prescriptions and directly transmit them to the blockchain for storage in the patient’s mobile application. This approach not only eliminates the need for paper prescriptions but also ensures that patient data remains secure, organized, and easily accessible from anywhere at any time. The solution empowers healthcare providers to offer more efficient services while reducing administrative overhead, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Manual documentation takes a lot of clinician’s time and impacts patient care, while claim settlement delays frequently occur due to incomplete data. However, access to comprehensive patient records beyond immediate clinical settings remains limited, leaving healthcare providers struggling to access complete medical histories, coordinate care effectively, and make fully informed decisions. Extending its vision further, Vigorus has also developed Chikitsa Health Claim Exchange (HCX), an AI-powered, National Health Claim Exchange (NHCX)-compliant platform designed to support health insurance claim processing in India. By enabling faster, fraud-resistant, and interoperable claims across states and schemes, Chikitsa HCX removes traditional barriers such as delays, rejections, and restricted care access. Fully aligned with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), the platform ensures seamless integration and transparency, empowering patients to access quality healthcare anywhere in the country.
With the support of DRISHTI CPS, the startup has successfully implemented its platform in more than 12 facilities, with over 50 organizations already adopting the solution. The startup is also working with the Rajasthan government to streamline the healthcare ecosystem and deliver better care to patients across the state, demonstrating its ability to scale effectively and integrate with existing healthcare infrastructure to create meaningful improvements in care delivery.
